This is funny the problem is I can’t see it but I can sense its population. You feel me?
Isn’t it funny? I shop almost every month and sometimes even twice a month. And yet I still feel like I need to shop more cause my clothes is running out. And for some reason, I really find that weird, funny, abnormal and unhealthy. I sense an alarm within me but yet its all too good to oversee the new outfits that pop in the season. It just seems to seduce me. Now who am I blaming? The non-living thing hanging? It can’t even talk for goodness sake. And me accusing it for whispering my name in loving kindness to buy it. Who am I fooling? I know who! Its mE! That’s not exactly it. The weird thing is me feeling like I am still lacking. I think this shopping fever is heating too much I just need to pause to turn me around. What exactly is causing me to feel that way? Beats me much. I don’t like where this is going. Though I have to admit that the feel of new clothes is plain awesome. I love it but I don’t like the frequency of my spree. I feel like a spoil brat who needs to pull her socks up. Smack her bum! *pouts
Weird feeling that grasp me
Weird feeling that seems to send ‘alarm’ to me
I think its because I forsee a lot of expenditures in the upcoming months that will sit in the position of my shopping sprees. Could it be that I am unconsciously making up for the upcoming lost time by allowing my shopping fever to hit me high time. The feeling is awesome seriously! But the upcoming wedding expenditures, Christmas etc is telling me I need to give the shopping a break and just sit down a while. The inner child is not too happy about it. Haha! Argh! Its high time I just pause for a while till the wedding and Christmas expenditures greets me a Big Hi!! I shall than spend with a big smile!! Yee haw!
Honestly, I feel a little sad going on a shopping strike. That sadness rings a alarm that I am getting too high on shopping fever. I need to take some panadol and ward it off for a while. Sucks but good for my bank account. Muahahaha! Ouch!poutS! cry! but alright!
Strikes are never happy anyways! Haiz!I can't help but pout!:*(
I am actually feeling embarass sharing this little weakness of mine.
Rock on guys!

Hey,Amy..it was grt chatting with u,albeit for a short while on the SB today.
Now,re. your,err,weakness..believe me,it isn't a weakness.grin..(Except if you overspend).I think shopping is the best way to get one in a great mood.Even window shopping..the reason? You see so much new things when you walk around observantly, and not just staring into show windows, while the mind is thinking of yesterday's dinner.:)
So,go on any strike(Eg...fast(ing from) food)-it's good for health..but,if you strike from shopping, believe me,you'll spend thrice as much when the strike ends..:)
Cheers and TC.
I think people shop for different reasons other than needing the item they just purchased. some do it out of boredom, some when they are sad( guity of this) while some shop to fill a void in their lives, while i think many people shop because they love nice things and like to dress well .so for whatever reason u shop you can do so but mybe limit the shopping to just buying one item , this way u can spread the shopping over many weeks.
Weren't women born to shop? like men were born to drink beer, watch sports and crave sex.
Don't you worry about your spree.
I completely agree with Lalitha out here i mean starry nights...:)
Dun be embarassed darl...we girls luuuurve our shopping. If we dun like shopping then we cant be girls...we must be boys. LOL!
** Though I have to admit that the feel of new clothes is plain awesome. I love it but I don’t like the frequency of my spree.
OMG thats so me :( This post kinda made me feel mighty guilty. However recently I hv stopped spending too much...only cos I realised that my closet wud bury me some day...
Keshi.
also I dun wanna buy clothes/shoes unncessarily...now that I hv a country full of em anyways.
On a serious note, it's actually a big waste of money...so yeah, u've made a very wise decision Amy.
Keshi.
Amit: Hello..:) I totally agree with ya. Its such a wonderful thing to bring on a great mood. Plus doing ya hair up as well!! woo hoo!!! i just love the feeling. Its like loving myself practically.hehehe!
***,if you strike from shopping, believe me,you'll spend thrice as much when the strike ends..:)
Hey you got me thinking there. I don;t think i will go there as long as i see myself shinging in a certain thing worth that thrice. Other than that. It will be the christmas jingles..Jingling loud enough for me to wake from my deep shopping fever rest!:P
hehe..Thanks Amit. You take care too.
Starry Nights: Hello..:D I love your tip on shopping for only one item. I do that at times. Honestly, sometimes i have this secret fear they will go out of stock and i go for two at least! haha. And yeah shopping does great for blue days as well and for just celebrating myself by dressing well.:P its awesome being ladies ain't it! We get to pamper ourselves. And i agree. Over excess is always bad. Thanks Starry!!:D Woo hoo!
George:Hello George!:D Oh ..I love ya comment;) Thank you George!!:D Woo hoo!!:D
Southpaw: Thanks Southpaw:)
Keshi:Heyllooo!
***On a serious note, it's actually a big waste of money...so yeah, u've made a very wise decision Amy.
Oh no..Are you serious Keshi?!:O I can hardly think of them as a waste of money unless i am buying and storing it in my closet as a white elephant. Or if i just wear it once and chuck it aside for salvation army the next day. That would be something i call a waste of money. And honestly, That kinda shopping would be considered unhealthy i guess. There were times i splurge and most of these times its times i really want something. But to buy and not use would have me tossing my head for my feet to kick right in! Sucks basically.:)
Cheeries Sweets!!:D
lolz... drs worse things in life than shoppin addcitions n u relly shdnt b embarassd abt it... 2 f my roomies hv d same problem... so wt their parents hv done is set up an account 4 em wid hs only a certain amount and they cnt ask their parents 4 more unless its a dire emergency (read life or death). and instead f a credit card, tey carry a debit card... its helpd em a lot!!!
Fire Whisky: Hello Whisky!!:D
Heyz that’s a good thing the parents are putting into practice. It will teach their kids to be prudent with their finances. And honestly to me. Credit Cards are bad newS!! Esp when you don't have the discipline to control. And debit cards are lovely. A better option by far.At least you know you don't owe anybody money. Thats the way to go.lol.
Thanks Whisky!!:))
Cheeries!;)
"retail therapy"? :P actually I read this line which made sense "Retail therapy need not be a negative term. It can be a neutral term that describes the pleasures of the total shopping experience, used by many people to boost their mood."
I never get the feeling that I have it all and enough's enough. It helps though that I don't go out that often. But when I do go shopping I GO :D
Good if you can control the urge to splurge but it's ok once in a while :)
oh and yes...enjoyed the song :)
Twilight: Helloooooo TWilight!!:P

Keshi.
Girls will be girls ;]
We can't be women if we dont feel the need to shop.Shop till you drop n go broke - thtz stylish too.hehe
heheh...
I for one can proudly say that i am not one of those girls who shops like crazy. I would seldom go to the mall and if i do, it is because i either have to buy s gift, help a friend shop or i REALLY need something :)
Keshi: :) Good to hear Keshi
