D Jr. a colleague, fresh out of college got drunk at Friday's party. Threw up and got stoned eventually had to be dropped home by another colleague. I got pretty much drunk as well and ended up talking to someone. Not quite like me, must ensure it won't happen again. I mean the calling part.
R, another colleague began flirting with a certain executive from a reputed bank landing a dinner date with her. I'll stop at this.
Was pulled up by my boss to listen to some 'gyan' about not working more than 8 hours a day. Keep talking dude, like i'm gonna listen anyways.
Cleared my deadlines more than a week in advance twice in a row. Told my super boss to give me more work. Also took an interview call excusing myself from a meeting, which i'm yet to decide upon.
The owner of my apartment, 'foreign returned' keeps bitching to me about 'Indian Women' Lady misses the point that she herself is Indian with a fake fucking accent. She said, 'no alcohol in my house' as one of the rules. It's been day two that i've been drinking at 'her place.' Lol!!!
Mom was sad that I wasn't able to have a 'good meal' on a Sunday. I on the other hand was glad. The nerves/veins (or whatever it's called) on my hands and arms are showing up. I lost 2 kg's before leaving home, I hope i'll lose a lot more in the days to come.
I skipped church for the 2nd consecutive Sunday, despite the fact that there's a church right across my street. I got some more 'gyan' from a dear friend earlier this morning about it. Will make an effort to go to church next Sunday. My bads, far outweigh the good that i've done, i'm going to hell either ways.
I met Jo. The 'creative head' from a certain agency. She's cute and petite. This week, boss and I will be checking out their office. I'll be taking care of their deliverables. Jo is cute, sadly she's married, despite looking like a kid herself (as if it would make a difference if she was single anyways).
A, a colleague. I feel a certain bond with her. I started calling her 'Mother A.' She's married you see, and I sense some motherly affection from her. She checks up on me on when I get to work and when I leave, not to forget the smoke breaks I take. I could do with a bit of attention.
There's a girl who sits right behind me. She's cute too. But i'm not the kind of person to smile at strangers or make small talk out of the blue. So whenever we cross paths, I just stare at her bluntly. We cross paths way too often. I'm not sure if it's her or me..
Had an altercation with the CEO who was visiting the India office. He said all smokers would get a pay cut pointing at me. Since he was out in the smokers zone at that point, I asked him if he was included too, which he declined. I retorted, 'maybe the list should start with your name first' as I turned my back on him. He sat next to me during the office luncheon party last Thursday, I was quite uncomfy. I'm glad I wasn't fired.
The most annoying thing is when my folks continue to call me, despite me ignoring their calls. Be it whilst during a meeting or when i'm drunk. For god fucking sakes, i've lived out of the country on my own for two whole goddamned years and away from home for 6 something years. While I do appreciate the concern, stop the obsession just cos i'm a stupid phone call away. Cut me some slack please.
Tomorrow is another week I look forward to. Can't quite wait to get to work. We have a party scheduled on Monday. If there's one thing that will keep me stuck to this office, then it has to be the frequency of these parties. I'm also starting to hate the idle weekends.
