I'm the most cheerful and happiest when I have loaaaaaads of work... and this week turned out to be just that.
Since Monday, Bond and myself have been working together and the way we seem to have adapted to each other's varying style of working is just amazing. In the process i've interacted with many new people and i'm now the only person from the S&M team to have one foot in the tech grounds as well.
Perhaps I could best summarize it this way. I've managed to smoke just 3 ciggies during the 10+ hours at work a day since the beginning of this week. Now please don't spoil the fun by asking me how many I smoked a day in total..
Weather has been crazy and driving me nuts. Gloomy dull shitty rainy crappy weather. I hope the clouds clear up soon.
I find it so convenient to drive to work. Had enough dealing with the rude senseless ricks of Bangalore. This also means that I 'must' henceforth go to church every Sunday. Hhhmmmm...
My diet has turned very weird. My food intake has drastically reduced. I find two idlis for breakfast, a bowl of salad and two rotis for lunch to be quite filling. The only meal I do manage to eat completely is dinner. And this is something that I find very strange.
Update about 'her' is that she was off for a day and strangely I felt quite bored by her absence. I could only manage to smile at her earlier today. She's cute, but i'm very very sure she's taken. Eitherways, I must keep a check on myself wrt 'Her.' There are much better things to do you know. Like focusing on work, for starters. I hope the weeks that follow will be the same.
I'm loving it.. totally! No complaints, what so ever. I mean my work/job whatever it's called.
I managed to convince 'The Big Man' (my ex boss in Salzburg) to forward me the reference mail that was required of him to send to my present employer and I was totally bowled over by what he wrote- J was something of a brat. Pulling smart ones with peers, keeping his team members in good spirit and challenging them to deliver; all the time retaining appreciation from superiors. Give him the tools, team, time and tag, and you get your targets.
Aaaaawww... i'm still grinning.
And no, I do not feel guilty for walking out on him. Life boils down to business eventually, you see. Give and take by the same measure and better if you get more in return. Win-win. My basic mindset remains unchanged- 'You scratch my back, I scratch yours' cos it doesn't take me more than a few minutes to pack my bags and move on, be it within the country or across continents. I've done it before and i'll do it if need be.. and that's the bottom line.

Welcome to Bangalore!
the regularity with which you comment as opposed to post never ceases to amuse....
same question as keshi, on both accounts! :D
the weather is really shitty, which made me compose that shitty verse on my blog! :X
has been gloomy here for the past 10 days.
and i get oh-so-logical reasons for it every time i lament abt the gloomy skies.
its coz ganpati bappa has visarjan every other day, so it has to rain!
Good to know that you are settling down nicely in Bangalore. Think positive maybe she is not taken and thinks the same of you. Make that first move and ask her out.
