There are many ways to stay up to date with the latest from Mother Jones. You can subscribe to our newsletter or make us your browser's homepage. Click here to set motherjones.com as your home page.
But for the most current info from Mother Jones, sign up for our RSS feed. RSS is a tool that sends you Mother Jones articles automatically, sort of like email. Below, we'll explain RSS aggregators and how you can use them to subscribe to our feed. Don't worry! It's really easy.
What do RSS aggregators do?
Aggregators reduce the time and effort needed to regularly check websites of interest for updates, creating a unique information space or "personal newspaper." An aggregator is able to subscribe to a feed, check for new content at user-determined intervals, and retrieve the content. (source)

Google Reader allows you to subscribe to Mother Jones on your Google Homepage or Google Reader account. Once you have subscribed that way, you'll see Mother Jones' most recent articles either on your Google homepage or in Google Reader. Here's a screen capture:

Here's is a screen shot of what RSS Owl looks like. To subscribe to Mother Jones' RSS feed, choose "New-->Bookmark" from the "File" menu item.
