I must say, as a huge, avid reader, this is reather disturbing for U.S. society
One in four U.S. adults say they read no books at all in the past year, according to an Associated Press-Ipsos poll released Tuesday. Of those who did read, women and seniors were most avid, and religious works and popular fiction were […]
It’s time to expose the hypocrisy!
Corrupt Democrats, watch out! When Democrats made "ethics" the centerpiece of their 2006 campaign, Matt Margolis and Mark Noonan, leading bloggers of Blogs for Bush and GOP Bloggers knew the public wasn’t getting the whole story. That is, until now!
In their new release, Caucus of Corruption: The Truth about the […]
Seriously. That is what the book "The Good Fight: Why Liberals — And Only Liberals -Can Win the War on Terror and Make America Great Again" is saying. I ran across this at the Barnes and Nobles while waitinf on a pizza, and about died laughing. Consider, from inside the jacket:
Once upon a time, liberals knew […]
Have y'all seen this book yet? I have wandered by it in the book store a few times, took an hour to peruse it while having a coffee at the local Borders. And, boy, it really was as bad as you would think it would be, considering it is pretty much a rip off of […]
Look, I haven’t read Ann Coulters new book, and won’t until they have it at the library. Nor have I kept up with the supposed controversy. People (meaning the Left) have forgotten that Free Speech applies to all Americans, not just the ones who agree with them (via Newsmax)

While I was up in Jersey checking on my sick Mom, helping Dad out, I re-read “Do As I Say, Not As I Do,” by Peter Schweizer. One quote early on really sticks out from the introduction:
…Limbaugh, Bennett, and Dr. Laura were the first to admit that by contradicting their own principles they had damaged […]
I actually finished “100 People Who Are Screwing Up America” last week, but just haven’t found the time to write a mini review of the book. I had been planning on a long, drawn out one, including the 100 people, but that plan went by the wayside when my Dad snagged the book the minute […]

Been rather light blogging today, picked up the new Nelson Demille book, Night Fall, earlier, and have been engrossed in it. I had been working my way through the Honor Harrington series by David Weber, but the 5th book in the series, Flag in Exile, was not available at the local library. Went to Barnes […]

Some new SciFi books I plan to either purchase or get from the library as soon as done with some of the Honor Harrington books:
Michael Marshall "The Upright Man" (Check out his others, under the name Michael Marshall Smith)
Harry Turtledove "Days of Infamy" The master of Alternate History!
Plus, while not scifi, Nelson Demille’s new one […]

I am a pretty big science fiction reader, and finally!!!!!!!! found the book I have been looking for for over a year, after reading it once. It is “There and Back Again,” by Pat Murphy. Do not read any reviews, it will give it away. You will be rather surprised once it hits you.
Also, Steve […]
