There are a few online businesses which one can concentrate on because one they are comparatively smaller in size and secondly they generate decent revenue. One of the businesses is providing templates and graphics work such as custom web design or other web graphic design. Other than that frontpage templates or word templates also sell well online. Another successful business is providing web hosting services. One can give out a specialized sort of hosting service such as asp or php hosting. Besides these people can create a site to give out tutorials, like Cisco’s 642-812 or another famous one is 642-825. Microsoft courses can also be offered like 70-293. If search engine optimization is applied on any of these sites and they do well in ranking the business can flourish in no time.

  4. Very nice Hans!

My only complaint is the out of the way position of the search box, I almost didn’t spot it up there and it isn’t very obvious.

Other than that, I love that you’ve combined with Sandbox and I think it looks beautiful! Nice one!

  5. My friend loved the theme, so I’m helping her install it on her site. How do we remove “Money Making Options”???

  6. The web site I’m trying to get this up and running on is at tv.mommamiameaculpa.com , by the way.

  8. @ Phil

Thanks Phil. For the searchbox, I thought that now most people like to have it to the top-most position, ain’t that so?

  9. @ Leslie

thanks for trying it out. To remove that section, open single.php from the theme’s folder and locate the text money making option, then just remove that section. Do tell me whether it worked. and if you have got any further issues, I would be glad to help you.

hope you’ll like it, I don’t know whether you like such colour white, because judging from your design, you like mostly colourful atmosphere, ain’t that so?

and Sandbox do separates trackbacks/pingbacks from comments, remember your last wish for a theme?

    Posted by Hans | June 19, 2007, 10:01 am
  11. Hans, I think what I mean is that it is so far over to the left, and it blends in with the background so much that it is harder to spot.

Personally I would have put it at the top of the third column, above recent posts, where it would be just a little more obvious. Like it appears in the screenshot above (so you must have thought of it too!).

  13. Thanks! That worked like a charm. One last question? Is there a way to center the whole thing on the screen? right now it rides to the left.

  15. @ Phil

thanks for clarification Phil But I so loved the way it’s displayed at the top that I don’t feel like putting it in the sidebar. I offered searching on the web instead there.

  16. @ leslie

Leslie, one of the marvel of Hypereal is that you can use different stylesheet. Do wait for some time since I’m going to provide other version of the theme with the columns in different order, that is content column at center with sidebar on sides, or content on right and sidebar on left, etc….

As soon as I finish the center version, I’ll get in touch with you to tell you. In the meantime you could be using that layout itself or play with the content, primary, secondary and sidebar div inside the hypereal.css in sandbox-layout in the theme’s folder. Nice to know things work.

  17. @ ekowanz

it’s built on the Sandbox which provide you lots of features(check them here). So for e.g you can style any single bit of your blog, for e.g if you want to have asides, you can style the category aside itself without using plugins to have asides, etc, etc. plus I’ve worked on many design issues to have a cleaner look, don’t you find so?

  19. hey, very nice and clean theme. I have a question, how do i stop the rotating script? where i only want use one header? because when I place the only image in the rotator folder, somehow the image expands and looks distorted. Please advise. thanks .

    Posted by beautyimpress | June 21, 2007, 12:09 pm
  20. @ beautyimpress

thanks for using myJournal beautyimpress. To do this, open the header.php found in the theme’s folder and look for this line at the bottom:

    <p><img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/rotator/rotate.php" height="130px" width="900px" alt="header image" /></p>

    replace with

    <p><img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/header.jpg" height="130px" width="900px" alt="header image" /></p>

where header.jpg is your header image. Don’t forget to put the dimension as above else that’s what’s making things look distorted.

Do tell whether it worked and if you need anything else.

  22. Hi,
Nice theme! Is there any chance you could make it fluid/liquid so the right side doesn’t get chopped off? The whole width of the page only shows up if my screen is totally maximized.

  34. Hi Hans,

Great theme, I was just wondering if you could help me invert the order of the comments? At the moment the newest on top and the oldest at the bottom and I’d like to reverse that. I changed to false but it doesn’t work. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Posted by Dennis Hettema | July 5, 2007, 4:54 pm
  35. @ Dennis Hettema

sure Dennis, just open your comments.php found in theme’s folder and remove that line of code :

    <?php $comments = array_reverse($comments, true); /* reverse comments */ ?>

that should make things work as you want them. Do tell me whether it’s fine now?

Thanks indeed for using the myJournal Hypereal theme.

I don’t think that I’ll have time to do this but I can advise you to: download the theme for wordpress and take all the css from the style.css and adapt it for your respective forum software.

  50. Hi

How can I modify this so that on the two sidebars, there’s a space across them… (like the space is as wide as the two sidebars combined) and that it’s at the very top?

And if I change the picture with a different height, will it break the layout?

  63. Hi,

I registered for the forums, but never got a confirmation message. My question is a simple one, have you thought about releasing myjournal with the sidebars on the the left and right of the content section, ie the content section centered. I highly prefer separating the sidebars on either side of the content. To me it gives a cleaner look. I am sure that I would use myjournal if this was possible.
