Zoophilia is a type of paraphilia. People who have it feel sexually attracted to non-human animals. These people are called zoophiles. A separate term, bestiality (often misspelled as "beastiality"), refers to human/animal sexual activity. Zoophilia and bestiality are not exactly the same thing—not all sexual acts with animals are performed by zoophiles, and not all zoophiles have sexual activity animals.
