Andromimetophilia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search

Andromimetophilia (often misspelled as androminetophilia) is an attraction to women who imitate men,[1] preoperative female-to-male transsexuals,[1] or postoperative female-to-male transsexuals.[2] Tranny chasers may be defined as andromimetophiliacs.

The paraphilic counterpart to andromimetophilia is gynemimetophilia, the attraction to men who imitate women, or pre-operative male-to-female transsexuals. Both paraphilias could be interpreted as an attraction to androgyny.
