Young man reported missing in Point Pedro

A young family man from Point Pedro is reported missing from Tuesday afternoon after going to obtain pass to travel to Colombo from Sri Lanka Army (SLA) Civil Administration office in Point Pedro, according to complaints made by his family members to Human Rights Commission (HRC) Jaffna office Wednesday.
The man reported missing is Baskaran Rajkumar, 30, from Point Pedro in Vadamaraadchi. Many youths in Jaffna peninsula have been reported missing in recently after leaving home to obtain travel permits to Colombo from their local SLA civil administration offices, HRC sources said.
