Q Do you allow split archives?
A Yes, we do allow split archives, as long as they are not downloaded by third-party software.

Q How to use ftp upload?
A You have to create a free account first to use ftp upload.

   FTP server: upload.easy-share.com
   Login/password - the same as in your account.
   When your files are uploaded, disconnect from ftp and in 3-5 minutes files will appear in your account.

Q Do I have to register to upload a file?
A You have to register only for ftp upload.

Q I am not downloading anything, but still receive "Your are downloading a file" message.
A It's possible that someone else is currently downloading file from your IP, or you have just finished downloading a file. Please wait 3-5 minutes and try again.

Q Do I have to pay to use your file hosting service?
A No, our service is completely free. It's supported by online advertising. Moreover, you can earn with our Revenue Program.

Q How long do you host files?
A Each file will remain on our servers for 1 month after the last time it was downloaded.

Q Are there any restrictions to the size of my files?
A Files you upload must be less than 100 megabytes in size.

Q How many files can I upload?
A You can upload an unlimited amount of files.

Q How do I report a violation of your Terms of Service?
A Please visit our Report Abuse page and paste the location of the file that you would like to be removed. Your report will be processed within 24 hours.

Q How can I share uploaded files with other people?
A After the upload process, you'll get a linking code to the file as well as a link for file deletion.

Q I am a site owner. How can I benefit by using your Revenue Program?
A When someone clicks a link on your site and downloads a file from Easy-Share.com you get revenue. You don't have to be owner of such files. See details here.

Q Do you allow adult files?
A We allow uploading of adult content, as long as it is legal and you have copyrights for such files.

Q What is a certificate?
A A certificate has a stated value. Purchased certificate codes are used to enable premium status valid for 2,7,30,90 and 365 days. A certificate can be used only once. You can activate premium status of your own account or give or sell this certificate to someone. That person simply enters the certificate code during account creation or activates it inside his own account. You can purchase a certificate using money/points accumulated in your account. Premium accounts, created with certificates are about 25% cheaper than accounts, purchased for money. (Price for certificates is in US dollars, while premium account price is set is Euros)

Revenue Program FAQ:

Q How much can I earn when I upload a file?
A We pay 1 dollar for 1000 downloads of your file(s). We'll also pay 1 dollar for 1000 downloads of anonymous files from your site.

Q When and how do I get paid?
A The pay period is 30 days. Payments shall be made 15 days after the end of the pay period. For example payments for December are made on the 1st of February. Minimum payouts are 10 USD for ePassporte and Paypal, 50 USD for WebMoney and 500 USD for a wire transfer.

Q How much can I earn?
A It depends on how many daily visitors your site has. Just one popular file on an average site can generate 5000-10000 downloads. We have files that were downloaded more than 100K times. That's 100 USD from a single file.

Q How do you calculate downloads and payments?
A We count every file downloaded (not open) from any country. The average size of the downloaded file must be lower than 20 Megabytes. Ratio downloads per unique visitor must be lower than 2:1. If these conditions fail, normalization of the payment is made.

Example::
  You will be paid 5 USD for 10000 downloads of a 40MB file, or 2.50 USD for downloads of a 80MB file.
  When 10000 unique visitors download 10000-20000 files - you will be paid 10 USD per 10000 downloads.
  When 10000 unique visitors download 50000 files, you'll be paid 20 USD.

Q Is there a minimum download limit per month?
A We don't have such limits. Accounts with 100 or 100K of monthly downloads will be paid, sooner or later.

Q I have lost my password / I have a question, what should I do?
A Use a password retrieval form.

Premium Account FAQ:

Q I purchased a premium account but it's not working.
A You must login to enable it. Click login link on http://www.easy-share.com and enter your login/password. Make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser.

Q Are there download limits?
A Daily download limit is 5 gigabytes.

Q How to download files using download accelerators like GetRight, Reget and others?
A Please login to your Premium Account using Internet Explorer. Download accelerators use cookies of Internet Explorer to detect Premium Accounts.
