The past albums of Linkin Park were better than the latest one. Somehow I have the feeling they've gotten softer.

I miss the days in that we had songs like "Crawling", "In the end", "Faint", "Points of Authority", "Papercut"... Those times were unforgettable.

Oh yes, and "Papercut" was the first ever Music Video and song that I ever discovered from Linkin Park.

They also composed a song named "It's going down" with some rappers, as far as I rememberd

I have to agree with Maxi-Ryu on this one. I was disappointed with their latest release and miss their first albums.

Meteora was a decent album few goods songs in it hope they can make a comeback and go back to their old songs such as Papercut.

I loved all their albums up until the most recent one. The only song I like off the newest album is is the first single, "What I've Done". The rest of it was pretty much a disappointment. The Fort Minor album that Mike Shinoda worked on was amazing...one of my favorite cds ever! I hope he continues with that project.

Yeah, actually Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands. I discovered it through an Angel Sanctuary AMV of the song Numb. I instantly fell in love with the song and wanted to hear more. I was a bit turned down by the rap parts, but I accepted them in the end, mostly because of the lyrics and the voice of the singer (not the rapper).

They rock of course, no doubt about that, established and certified. anyways, seems like most of their tracks in their recent albums have seated in the top list of every radio music chart.

although, a common comment is just recently, their latest album seemed a bit toned-down of their original genre and some also stated that it started to sound emo. sounds true but i still liked it anyway. it's new of course but their signature is still there. loud and clear.

Well, I had started to lose faith, but the new album (Minutes to Midnight) is my personal favorite- I like the way they're going.

Hybrid Theory and Meteora are nice albums with full of energy but Minutes to Midnight is not that good :( It's just like an average album from an average rock band. It sound like there were out of inspirations for most of the album's songs... I hope the next one will be better :p

I think guys before said it well... Their first album was filled with some massive sounds and lyrics. I felt like singing each time I heard it. But their most recent albms were just... overrated. There's nothing to see anymore. No great melody, no good lyrics, no great video neither. Well, LP Is definitely dead.
