About the monkey:
No I did not draw the monkeys! Well, sort of, but not really :)
The original monkey design is a brainchild of Atsuko Nakajima (Getbackers).
First adopted as a humble avatar, until one day, his adorable cuteness and my random cheekiness just went - BAM! - and so now he poses as my public figure and often speaks on my behalf.
(translation: I take the original version and make deviations out of it ^^)

Erm, I'm doing... same old, unfortunately. Not too much positive development on the job switch front, so I'm a bit depressed about that. I've had a few interviews and have a few more applications floating around out there though, just need to continue cranking them out... :(
But yeah, so work is keeping you busy? ^^ Sounds like things are going well though? Hopefully you'll have a bit of downtime when you can doodle out something in Illustrator/PS :] I'm going to do some mad procrastination myself rest of tonight. So bad lol...

Thanks for the comment :D lol, i actually have to thank you for more than the compliments, because i wouldn't have made this wall had you not come up with the great idea of having a food theme. and actually, i found the screenshot before i had the idea, so it saved me the trouble of looking for that one perfect image. =]

Campus folklore has it that most assignments are \'meh\'... but I landed this one with the help of my academic advisor, and research institute ≠ run of the mill job so I\'m still hoping that this will prove to be an exception to the norm, or something like that. ;b

Going freelance should give you more flexibility in terms of time, so go for it!
Yah I'm all done with exams, but still need to complete an internship (read: cheap labor) as part of the curriculum before I officially graduate. Managed to land a spot in a research institute, starts in a couple of weeks, really hope it's what I'd bargained for. >_<
