artshouse - melbourne - will be presenting 'reform' in september. rehearsals are now underway in perth in the lead up to the pvi's august departure.

thanks to 'inform' intern >> jo willers
jo willers, a performance student at edith cowan university, came on-board for pvi's recent road trip into suburbia, 'inform' as audience support and liaison. as a site specific artwork and radio broadcast, jo was thrown in at the deep end two weeks before the show, demonstrating remarkable citizen negotiation skills! it was fantastic to have her on board and we look forward to working together again. thanks jo!
artlink feature >> trans-versa exhibition
this quarters artlink magazine focus's on the south project's journey so far, including an article on group exhibition 'transversa' curated by danae mossman and zara stanhope, held at mac santiago in oct 2006. pvi developed resist for transversa, check out the article by danae and zara.[see link below]
special projects >> c.i.a. studios [centre for interdisciplinary arts studios]
the 'cia studios' pvi initiative supported by the dept of culture and the arts in collaboration with resident artists 'hydra poeisis' and 'sic' [something in common]. is close to being finalised, the cia studios have been given start up funding by dca to be an incubator style, artist run, working space housed at the westone building on newcastle street.
the studios will provide discrete studio spaces as well as a shared rehearsal and development space to encourage collaborative work, along with offering specialised resources for emerging / established west australian artists who have an interdisciplinary arts practice.
