How Do I Upload an AOL Video Portal From My Camera Phone?

You can send your videos from your camera phone to AOL Video Portal. You will need to subscribe to a data plan from your mobile carrier. First, you'll need to set up a profile in the AOL Video Portal Mobile Settings area by providing a phone number for the camera phone you intend to use and then selecting a location from which you will most often send videos. AOL Video Portal will recommend an e-mail address to which you should send your videos from your camera phone, depending on your location. For example, if you shoot a video in Kansas, send that video to [email protected]. You can send videos to any location, as well as to any AOL Video Portal category, for example Comedy ([email protected]), Sports ([email protected]), etc. You can find a list of e-mail address at the Mobile Submission Addresses page.

We recommend that you send videos using MMS or SMS on your camera phone instead of a POP e-mail application. This allows us to match your phone number to your account. If you plan to use an e-mail application on your phone, please register your e-mail address at the Mobile Settings page.
