The Forum Rules

Note: These are the rules, All people of higher rank than me feel free to edit them.

Rule 1: No Double Posting. I know this can be difficult sometimes, but endure the pain and use the edit button. Yes, it exists. This is annoying not only to the Staff, but other people trying to post. Bumping a thread is also considered double posting.

Rule 2: Absolutely no personal attacks or flaming of other members. I know we all do some of this in good fun but sometimes it is taken the wrong way. I do not want to be like Judge Judy here but I will if I have to. DO NOT TEST THE STAFF ON THIS ISSUE! THERE WILL BE DIRE CONSEQUENCES! Respect all members!

Rule 3: No spamming or use of posting bots will be allowed. Note that this includes the spamming of competing forums, websites, networks, etc. Please do not make us need to enforce this!

Rule 4: Stay on Topic. This kind of follows spamming. When there is a subject in a topic, do not, I repeat, do not stray from it. I know this will happen occasionally. Warnings will be given for accidents, but punishment will be given if it continues.

Rule 5: No pornography, nudity, or extremely-sexual content is allowed on the forums except for in the hentai section. Remember, not all forum members are of age! Try to keep it clean.

Rule 6: Do not take rules into your own hands and make posts like (lock/delete this, this should be moved, etc) If something is in violation of our rules, please contact a moderator. By taking rules into your own hands you are just making more work for our moderators.

Rule 7: Have fun! What is the point to post if you can't have fun doing it? Grumpiness tends to kill the good mood of others. So, put on a smile and post happy!

Rule 8: Swearing Is Allowed, Don't Abuse It!

Rule 9: Signatures
• Signature Limit: 2 signature images are allowed
• Signature Sizes: The signatures total size must not be larger than 600x400. (Width x Height) for all images combined.
• Userbar Limit: The userbar total size must not be larger than 600x200 (Width x Height).
• Be reasonable, if you're slightly over this limit it's not a big deal but if a one sentence post is taking up half the screen, your signature is probably too big!
***IF THIS RULE IS BROKEN, YOUR SIGNATURES MAY BE REMOVED. YOU CAN ADD IT BACK ONCE IT HAS BEEN MADE COMPLIANT***

Rule 10: No Stealing Encodes & Uploads
• If you're going to use links from our site on another site, you need to follow the guidelines below.
A. You must obtain permission from the uploader and credit them wherever applicable.
B. You must label the Website: www.cartoon-world.org
C. You must label the IRC info: #Cartoon-World @ irc.cartoon-world.org

All bans and edits will be reviewed by another staff member to ensure the power of the staff is not being abused. If you feel you have been given an unfair punishment, please contact one of the administrators and your case will be reviewed. Also, if you see a post that breaks the rules, please report it and one of the Staff members, and they will take care of it. If you follow the rules, we will all be happy, and have fun.
